  11. Rachel Summers

    February 27, 2013, 5:50 pm

    Hi,

wow!Great Blog you post, Very Informative. Outsourcing is no longer a novelty or alien phenomenon since almost every organization in the world outsources some aspects of their business, such as payroll or billing activities, vehicle maintenance services, janitorial services, and legal services, among many others.
Outsourcing actually means allowing experts to do what they are supposed to do, simultaneously giving companies enough time to focus more on their core strengths.
Thank you for this and Have a great one!

    1. deborah

      March 18, 2013, 2:28 pm

I love the use of the word, “alien phenomenon,” Rachel 🙂 Yes, good point. Outsourcing allows each of us, including the outsourced experts, to do what we do best.

    2. lalit

      July 15, 2013, 12:22 am

I agree with Rachel – most organizations the world over outsource some activity or the other However all the companies do not get similar successful results –some even fail at activities like outsourcing their software development work — And there seems to be relatively little literature (research suggesting the reasons for such inadequate performance)

We at Mag Studios (WWW.mag-corp.com) have found that being transparent is an important factor and contributes immensely in teh overall success of such outsourcing assignments

      1. deborah

        November 30, 2013, 6:18 pm

Good point. The transparency is very key. More so in some situations than others, and there is a balance, but I have a lot more trust for companies that practice that.
