Wow, Deborah. This is a great and valuable resource. I’m definitely going to have this done as it will be great for my personal brand.

Deborah how long it takes for you to appear in google SERP?

    • deborah July 12, 2012, 11:00 pm

It varies. I think for mine, it was a few weeks. However, Google, from what I understand, doesn’t guarantee anything. Also, in 2011, it was taking, like four months for some, without any real reason why. My advice? Check weekly and don’t become alarmed if it isn’t working yet. That said, it may not hurt to double check the code when you see that your profile pic is not in the SERP, to ensure there isn’t a comma or spacing that is wrong, etc. (I’ve done that when coding late at night and I should be in bed!)

Now after read your article I am also interested to adding my photo. can you tell me how much time will taking Google for showing profile photo in search engine pages.

Hi Janmejaya. It varies. For me it was rather quick, but I have heard of it taking quite a few weeks, or even months. I would suggest you set it up as soon as possible (if you haven’t already), so that, at least, that clock starts and you are closer to that moment when your pic will show up in the search engine results.
