If you have no previous experience, building a website can be a daunting task. There is a lot to consider but everyone starts at the same essential spot. First and foremost, you must decide what it is you want your website to be. Are you trying to help people find good recipes?

Maybe you’re a big automotive buff and want to design a website to help people all over the world get their cars going again. Whatever it is you want to do, you need to be passionate about it. With that first bit satisfied, the real work comes next. Here’s an easy way to build your first website, even if you have little to no idea what you’re doing.

Get on Google

Anyone building a website should be hoping to appear on Google search results pages. Getting your website to show up when people look for it will bring in more traffic and give your business a more professional look and feel. To accomplish this, you will need to do two things.

Receive an update straight to your inbox every time I publish a new article. Your email address will never be shared

First, you’ll have to provide visitors some excellent content they just can’t find anywhere else. Make them laugh, make them cry, make them think and most importantly, make it memorable. If people see stuff they like on your website, nothing is really stopping them from sharing the news with their friends, family and co-workers. Everything on the internet starts out small and grows in a similar fashion.

Don’t be Afraid to Copy Paste

If you see a website which appeals to your eyes, see if you can come up with the HTML or other coding for it. While you should never just steal a website outright like this, you can take the parts which you really like about another business and make them uniquely your own.

For example, let’s say you’re selling cars. There are so many used and new car sales pages on the internet they’re just too numerous to list here. Among all those, you find one website with a fantastic layout you just have to have. This is when you need to be ready to copy and paste.

Change it up later to avoid plagiarism charges but take every advantage you can to get your website built up and off the ground.

Editor's note: The recommendations to copy/paste the formatting, to learn how the html is laid out. Write your own content for your site.

Go with GoDaddy

Finding the right host for your website is as important as the content on your page. If the company keeping your website online is a bad one, visitors may find themselves unable to even connect to your page. GoDaddy.Com is the leading webhost in the United States.

They’ve got so much money they can afford ad time during the Superbowl; that’s no small feat. GoDaddy is big and wealthy and do you know how it got that way? Providing great customer service and giving people the hosting solutions they need is how businesses like GoDaddy make it.

The company is so good at what it does you should give them a good, long look when searching for a good place to host your website. Millions of satisfied customers can’t be wrong, right?

Hi there. Yes, the copy/paste is good, educationally, but we always want to be careful that we do not use it to steal content. It is such a delicate balance so that we learn and share in a community feel, but respect people’s intellectual property. One page is good, so that you can focus on the quality of that one page.
