Make Your Offline Marketing A Reality (And Fall in Love with Your Strategy!)

Ever thought about offline marketing? You think about online/internet marketing, branding, e-commerce, and all that fun stuff, right? So, why not offline marketing?

For some, it is so easy to say that one day we are going to get the offline marketing portion of our overall marketing strategy up and running. For that matter, does “up and running” even apply to offline marketing? I mean, what is offline marketing?

Many times, people do not pursue offline marketing because of one of the following (or a combination of the following) reasons:

  1. They don’t know what it is.
  2. Don’t feel they need it.
  3. It will happen someday.
  4. Maybe even tomorrow, but certainly not today.
  5. When they make more $$$ they will hire someone to make it happen.

In other words, it is all summed up to PROCRASTINATION!

Look, in my experience (which is way more experience than what I share), getting it done right away, even if it is just a start and you improve upon it as you go, is much more effective than the above procrastination list.

Let’s take a moment to consider some ideas for offline marketing opportunities that you can check out and maybe implement today!

Amazing Wristbands

Wristbands

amazingwristbands.com – many of us have had fun with wristbands. Sometimes we receive them for free at conferences and they are used to give us access to the conference events. Sometimes, they are available for purchase or even as gifts at functions we attend.

No matter how we obtain the wristbands, they are fun. They can be made in all sorts of appealing colors and fit most people’s wrists. This is the very point of why they serve as such a valuable promotional gift and an opportunity to economically produce them with your company branding and give them away for free. Since they ARE so fun, the recipients are more likely to keep them and this continues your brand promotion. It is a win-win.

Affordable Business Cards

Business CardOne of my favorite places to buy business cards is at vistaprint.com. You can create almost anything, and certainly your own brand, via the VistaPrint business cards. And, they are affordable.

More Than Just a Card

Need more? Need some brochures, or fancy business card holders for the executives (or top sales people/affiliates) or coffee mugs? You can get those at vistaprint.com, as well.

Polo Shirt

Still need some nudging? Let’s consider some really helpful articles on the topic of “Offline Marketing:”

So, what are your plans today, when it comes to offline marketing? I’m looking into those wristbands to see if I can get some offline brand exposure!

    Hi, Deborah,
I think before two year, i’m in college.. And there is an event organizing on every-year. So, again it comes where we have to do something new and collecting donation by promoting the organization that handles the child. So, we have tried the different – different i.e. is also a part of the offline marketing to promote about our project to everywhere to everyone, to collect donations. And that time, we are doing to get first in our college..

So, we start promoting our concept but still we are getting lower response… then we planned for it to organize a event in society and before it we have invited to everyone who’s nearby to us…
Then we successfully organize our event and collect a enough donations. Then we realize that it is not for only to come first, but it is for the organization, whose handling blind child’s, teaching them,,, helps them to build your own.

So, all things is that we can do offiline too, if we really want and we are doing a great…

Thanks to read… But I think it will be good to share…

    Thanks Deborah

    Regards ~ Vijay Singh

    • Hello Vijay,

Don’t be too hard on yourself with the lower response. That is normal in this day and age, especially with all that is available to us and especially with all that is available to us via the internet.

It sounds like you are on the right path and I am hoping that your hard work and diligence pays off well in the end. You are sure to be a success, as you continue to travel this path πŸ™‚

What about Direct Mail marketing…. Have you had any experience with that? I have heard that old school marketing guru’s like Dan Kennedy have made millions from great copywriting and Direct Mail marketing. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing the article!

    • Great question, Jeff. I think we all have to be carefull when we hear that the greats have made millions. While I believe that they are telling the truth (or it is none of my business if they are lying), they have been in it for a bit longer and have developed their method that works. That doesn’t necessarily mean that it will always work for us. For example, maybe their list is full of people who work well with the old school methods. An example is that some of us have become immune to ads that come by mail. However, I am likely to pay more attention than, say, my daughter. So, if you have the right list and those on your list enjoy mail, even what some may call junk mail, then you have a gold mine and maybe you could make some money off of your direct mail list. It has been done!
