A Look At 5 Facebook Apps For The Trendy Realtor

When Facebook emerged into the tech scene years back, it was simply the site for use in a college. To think today that to log in during its initial stage, you had to have '.edu' attached to your name seems like a joke. It is now a vital marketing tool and performs wonders for any business. The two college kids who launched it, well I am sure, could never predict it would be this huge. It now is and you should not ignore it even in the least. It is continually evolving to include various applications for every business industry, and real estate being the great shareholder in the economy, it has not been left behind. Use these Facebook apps to market your business, get new clients, view and update listings and practically everything you want to. In this fast paced world of technology, get your apps right to not be left behind panting! 1. Slide Share Facebook Facebook is dynamic and colorful. Your marketing should embrace the same style. Instead of writing huge status update, blogs and other text-full methods adopt the power of slides. Create a PowerPoint presentation easily with simple points and pictures then use this application to upload it to face book. You can advertise your services, show what you have to offer and with the 6 million users on face book, you are sure you will be circulating the circles in no time. Remember that the world of social media is fast and after a few days, your slides may be old news. Keep new content coming and upload it fast using this app, imagine it as a form of digital signage on your phone and right into the hearts (read pages) of many fans and friends. 2. Social RSS Facebook Having a blog shows you are in the right direction, but your blog's readership is low. Get the social RSS to upload automatically your blog link to your wall and on your page. It will increase your readership greatly so you want to be sure you have relevant and informational content. You friends will be immediately notified when you do so and it will show on their pages as well. Get your friends list building fast and enjoy the benefits. Do you have the 5000 limit? 3. LinkedIn Contacts Facebook The way to get ahead is good networking but your circles are not connected. Get your friends in Facebook and your network in Linkedln connected with this app. Never lose touch again and you will never miss a sale. 4. Google Calendar Facebook Let all your contacts know what you are doing using this application. Create a calendar on Google then use this app to embed it to face book. List your open house brunch and the seminar for real estate agents to remain fresh and relevant in your clients and investors minds. 5. To Do List This cute little app on Facebook can easily sum up what Facebook stands for when it comes to real estate relevance. We all know that as a real estate realtor, there is so much to keep track about on a daily basis. There are calls to made to follow up on pending cases as well as new tasks to remind ourselves to get started on. With To Do List on Facebook potentially being one of the hugest CRM platforms in the world, you can do just that in a heartbeat on this popular social networking portal. You can also create different lists to organize your tasks neatly into categories such as business, personal, ad-hoc and so on. A real realtor knows the power of organization and this is one app that does it right for you. A word on the underutilized Facebook page One of the early easy of using Facebook for real estate was having a Facebook page. However, many did not capitalize on this well and let it go. It largely remains one of the most underused Facebook items. It is not an app you can directly get on your phone but you can access your page using your phone. Your page is like your office notice board. Keep it active and engage your fans. Thank new members for joining. Keep tabs of birthdays and anniversaries and send them good wishes. Update on new events, listings, and pictures. Do all you can but never go silent on your page as well as keep it exciting and relevant. They definitely know how to capture one's attention!
