Livestream with Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) and #USABizParty Perks!

Note: Do you want a solution for the looking-at-the-webcam and still looking like you are looking at the people in a virtual meeting (or other virtual event)? I have a solution for you! See my page here, with Video Resources!

Hey all!

Ms. Anna Scheller and the #USABizParty has been gracious enough to invite me for the livestreaming today, April 15, 2022, covering one of my fave topics, Video! Specifically, Video Marketing and we will be chatting about the different video platforms and their pros and cons.

But first, I wanted to include a few components so that they are easy to find (or, easy for me to find πŸ™‚ ). These are items or components that I have already provided to Ms. Scheller and her team. But, also, information about any offerings in the works from mi casa a tu casa (from my house to your house). Ready?

My plan is to create a “cheat sheet” and maybe even videos of those items I reference in the livestream. I’m sure Anna has you covered with the recording but just want to be sure we have everything. Besides, if I am going to copy/paste I have to paste it somewhere, right?

Ok, enough babbling… here we go and in the meantime, if you are reading this BEFORE the livestream, don’t forget to join us at 2p EDT (11am PDT).

About Deborah E

Having climbed to the pinnacle in technology in her quest to explore the potential for increased efficiency, Deborah realized that people were being largely forgotten and sadly mistreated in some cases. She strongly believes that there is a place for the optimal use of technology that still protects the dreams, aspirations, dignity, and welfare of the human spirit.

Now she is focusing on her skills as a videographer and training and experience as a sound engineer (along with the same of her husband) to make things happen and help people.

Online Video Platforms

An online video platform (OVP) is a video hosting provider that allows users to upload and broadcast video content to their audience. These platforms are often combined with live streaming software have built-in video players that allow adaptive streaming on virtually any device.” – DaCast.com (click on the link to read the full article from which this quote was taken)

The following list is not in the order that I would present it but it is so hard to decide on the order, isn’t it? I am a logical person, so that means it requires logic, reasoning, basis… Or, in this case, since I already borrowed the quote, above, from them, I also borrowed the order of the OVPs. Obviously, since it is quoted from their site, they are going to show up as #1 on their own list πŸ™‚ We are referring to Dacast.

So, here is the Dacast-ordered list, along with youtube videos I found, describing them or something about their service (referring to the referenced OVPs now). Also, I have not tried all of these services. I tend to have my favorite(s) and I am loyal. But, I wanted to provide you with options, thanks to the Dacast List.

  2. IBM Cloud Video
  3. Wistia

Ok, people, I do have an offer for you πŸ™‚

And, it is a freebie! It is worth much more than that (free) but as #USABizParty people, I’m offering it to you for free! Also, it is a “thank you” for attending and listening to me babble, as well as a “thank you” for your patience.

Patience for what, you ask?

Well, first, the freebie. It is a $97 course on the technical aspects of getting in front of a camera. It is based on … well, I’ll spare you for the moment (and may come back and fill this in later so you can have my background…) But, let’s say we (my husband and I) have a LOT of experience and we also have training (e.g. sound engineering at the Hollywood studios in … Hollywood).

So, this freebie? And, the patience?

I have the first module finished (don’t worry, I have all of it “finished” but I am referring to the finishing touches…). I need to put 1% of the finishing touches on Module One and the finishing touches on Modules Two through Four. See where the patience comes into play here? See why I am thanking you πŸ™‚

If you sign up (below) before Monday, as in … by midnight PDT on Sunday, yes, Easter Sunday, you can get this course at no cost to you. I will send you the link for the course, to the email you use to subscribe, next week. And, of course, you can unsubscribe anytime. It is a great way to have your email address available so I can send you that link for the course. I’m not going to lie, I hope you stay subscribed πŸ™‚

So, you want the course? Subscribe, below, and I’ll send you the link when I finish the 1% of Module One next week. And, of course, I will make Modules Two through Four available as I put the finishing touches on those, too.

Thank you, again, for your patience and for allowing me to give you this gift πŸ˜‰
