Google Adwords Pay Off (for Google)!
We know that Google is popular. In our pop culture, we often hear and say, “Hey I’m going to ‘Google’ that.” When was the last time you heard someone say, “Hey, I’m going to ‘Bing’ that.” No offense, Bing, “Just Sayin.”
Many of us have utilized Google Adwords and it is clear that Google has succeeded in profiting from the money that we freely pour into their coffers with our Google Adwords accounts. Google continues to call the shots with each new animal update.
So, with all of the changes, recently, do you think Google’s income will continue to grow at record-breaking rates? Check out the infographic, above, to see the monetary success that Google has experienced a year or so again, with products like Google Adwords, where we, John Q. Public, pay to be noticed and hope that we can be noticed more than the Smiths down the street, or our major competitors.

Those figures are quite simply staggering but perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. I had no idea though that with all its products, Adwords contributed such a significant proportion.

It is interesting to see that. I wonder if all those free $100 vouchers helped that, getting that ball rolling and people wanting to buy more and more… But, then, the drive to show up on Google, any way, any how, is very motivational in the purchase of AdWords.

I think Google is digging its own grave by rolling out so many changes one after another. All these recent updates have affected have affected a lot of webmaster and small businesses in such levels that they may need to rethink their online strategies. Many may even close down due to more updates effecting them.
While most top companies are certainly going to survive because they certainly have a lot of money to keep themselves sustained while on the other hand the poor ones will die a drastic death. And that will in turn hurt Google with its earnings specially since it earns such a large chunk from Adwords i.e. from webmasters and business owners.

Nice inforgraphic about Google updates. I think these frequent updates is a nice step from Google to control web spam and the quality of search results. Google is the most used search engine today and it cannot compromise with the quality of search results. These Google updates help in filtering the results to get only the best ones.

Good point, Jack. It must be a challenging job for Google, to provide quality results and yet keep it automated with the algorithms that do not let spam through the filters. Add to that, the paid options and keeping everything balanced and fair…
