Are you thinking of starting your own backyard farm? Thinking that your one acre isn’t big enough? Think again! Angela England has written a book (great one for that holiday gift!) on backyard farming and how you, too, can do it on that acre of land. Angela England, of AngEngland.com, will be joining us to talk about her book, answer your questions, and have a fun time chatting..
During this #SocialCafe Twitter Chat, our guest was Sheryl Brown, of Sheryl Brown Art. Not only is Ms. Brown an artist, but she is also a fashion designer, having transition from painting on canvas to producing wearable art!
After the chat today, I spoke to Lisa Gibson on the telephone about how fun this Twitter chat was. I am truly excited to say that we are talking about a weekly Makeup / Fashion twitter chat! It will use the #SocialCafe hashtag. Tentatively, we are talking about Thursday nights at 5pm PST / 7pm CST / 8pm EST. Would love your feedback on whether this time works for you or not.
SocialWebCafe and the #SocialCafe twitter chats are doing something special this season and “giving back” by promoting entrepreneurs and product specialists. The idea is that we give some promotional help (having a Twitter Chat) and give our Tweeps some ideas for the holidays and especially gift ideas for those hard-to-buy-for-people in your life. To kick it off this season, we will start with looking good and getting ready for those holiday parties and get-togethers.
During this #SocialCafe Chat we will have Lisa Gibson, a professional Hollywood Studio Makeup Artist, joining us to answer your questions about makeup and makeup application. Ms. Gibson will share how to find makeup that will help you to look like a celebrity at a fraction of the cost. She will also share those tips and tricks that even you can do, to look glamorous this holiday season.
Ms. Gibson will point out the common misconceptions and pitfalls and also answer your questions, so start pulling those questions together now.
Enjoy some snippets from the #SocialCafe chat today (#TBW) discussing blogging and blogger challenges.
Donna put it so well when she said that blogging is a “creative outlet.” Just like playing music is a creative outlet for the musician and picking up the paintbrush is a creative outlet for the painter, so it is with blogging for the writer.
It is also an opportunity to share what we feel and share what we think, through this creative outlet.
A popular tweet by Janel, talking about finding that “slant” for the article, and publishing it before someone else does! So true, Janel!
As Da Vinci pointed out, it is pretty clear that one of the issues that bloggers face is time and time management. That is also something that will be covered in The Blog Workshop, as well as many of the other topics mentioned in today’s twitter chat. (Check out the slideshow, above, to see the full chat).
Da Vinci, of YourLifeAfter25.com, will be joining us and, in honor of the upcoming Blog Workshop, will be sponsoring a giveaway with an opportunity for you to enter to win a $10 Starbucks gift card or a FREE pass to The Blog Workshop. Don’t forget to sign up today for a chance to win! You won’t want to miss this workshop and a chance at a free pass to attend! (Enter above.)
During this Twitter Chat we have some blogging questions to get you to think, to share your experiences, and to learn from other bloggers. It is an opportunity to have fun and discuss our thoughts on the blogging profession and share our experiences, our frustrations, our goals, and our hopes.
During this Twitter Chat we will be discussing eCommerce. According to Wikipedia, eCommerce is defined as “Electronic commerce, commonly known as e-commerce or eCommerce, or e-business consists of the buying and selling of products or services.”
Did you know that a PayPal Donate button could be called eCommerce? So, let’s chat about how you can enhance the eCommerce (i.e. collecting money) on your blog and share tips with others.
